Great Information on guest blogging! Its a challenging job to do as almost 5% blog owners accept your guest post due to high competition. But, it is very useful to spread awareness about your website and increasing the organic traffic through this strategy. Normally it takes 3 months to calculate your ROI. I will use your great tips now onward.

I totally agree that the main purpose of a guest post should be to provide value for my readers and not just for links.

I received a lot of guest-posting requests on my previous blog and I can say it’s not worth the time dealing with people who just want a quick link.

After a while, I learned that the smart way is to just ignore and mark their email as ‘spam.”

If the website that approved the article is only publishing guest posts and has no unique content of its own then most probably the link you gained from that site has no real value. If you have done this many times (i.e. publish guest posts on ‘average’ websites that their only purpose is to publish content and give links) then in my opinion this will affect negatively your client’s authority.
