Your files File:Mirth Maker's Career Ends in Tragedy - Daily News - 1934-05-15 - 02.jpg is set to a Spain copyright even though you set if for Australia. I am not sure how to fix it. --RAN (talk) 06:18, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ): Caused by User:Jarekt in this edit, after they renamed the template. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:03, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
According to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Australia Australia follows "Publish + 70 years" duration for anonymous works, so Template:PD-anon-70 is probably the best fit. Spain is the only country that follows PD-anon-80 for some works. --Jarekt (talk) 02:06, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The point is, you left the file under discussion - and perhaps many more -miscategorised. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:50, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fae uploads...[edit]

Hi.

Any chance you could also try and find more author detail for other uploaded books in the same category? ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 09:28, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@ShakespeareFan00: I shall do so as and when I come across them, but I am unlikely to have time to do so in bulk. Best thing, if you know of any and don't have time to find them yourself, is to add them to a tracking category. Nominating them for deletion, speedy or otherwise, is not helpful. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:53, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
see Category:Public domain files with no author lifetime information/low priority for tracking. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 11:56, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ShakespeareFan00: P.S. It seems that the author is in the file metadata. Maybe this is something a bot could assist with? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:59, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The author name typically is, the author date of death isn't always. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:54, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
